Executive Director


Katie Dealy

Cambridge Performance Project welcomes Executive Director, Katie Dealy.  Katie has been teaching dance and creative movement with CPP for over fifteen years and brings not only her hands-on experience working with young people in the classroom and afterschool, she also has impressive academic credentials her Masters in Education from Simmons College and her Masters in Dance Education from George Washington University . In addition to her activities with CPP, Katie also teaches at Green Street Studios and several pre-schools. In her creative work with children Katie ofen uses props to help create story dances in her energetic and imaginative classes.

Jerusha Aman

Sarah Mae Gibbons, originally from Athens, Ohio, earned her BFA in dance with a minor in education from Ohio State University while teaching at the Charisma and Wexner Centers for the Arts. A founding member of Performance Improvisation Ensemble, a touring compositional community, currently she is creating a new Boston dance company, dancing for independent choreographers, and teaching at the Dance Place as well as for CPP.

Kendra Heithoff, a graduate in dance from the University of Minnesota, is a choreographer, dancer and teaching specialist. She has worked with Boston Ballet, Minnesota’s Dance Arts Centre and Ballare Teatro Dance Theater. Her choreography has been shown at the Boston University Dance Theater, Green Street Studios, The American Dance Legacy Institute, The Dance Complex, and Minneapolis’ Red Hot Art Festival. She has toured internationally in Trinidad and Tobago with Global Worship Movement and performed professionally with Sokolow Now!, Urbanity Dance Project, Dance Currents, Nautilus Music Theater, Dancing Legacy, Kay Cummings, Linda Talcott Lee, Joe Chvala and Charles Moulton.

Gabrielle Orcha

Jafar Manselle, percussionist and CPP teacher for more than 10 years, also teaches at Very Special Arts. He performs frequently with his classes in the Boston area and as an accompianist. He especially enjoys his work with children.

Aimee Rose Ranger, a graduate of Emerson College, is a local storyteller, actor, artist and theater educator. She is currently teaching for the Free Lance Players and can be seen performing with companies in Boston, including Imaginary Beasts and Graves and Gravestones. She loves to teach and believes that she has much to learn from each child she meets.

Allison Stamiris has been studying percussion for the past 19 years and is currently performing and teaching in the Boston area. Her primary focus is on the rhythms of West Africa, and she has worked with several West African master drummers in the local community. Allison has traveled to Mali and Guinea on several occasions, and performs with djembefola Moussa Traore from Mali.
